Minus seventeen actually seems mild after seeing -24 in the morning. Ick! I think the older I get, the more I lose my threshold for cold. I need to relocate somewhere warmer, yo! So what does this girl do on a cold Saturday afternoon?1. Wear a winter coat, toque and scarf around the house, even when I have no intention of going outside.
This is a portrait of me posing by my window, which is emanating evil cold air vibes which makes me feel disgruntled. Yes my toque really does look like that. I probably look like I'm 15 when I go anywhere public but so be it, it's the best toque ever. 2. Nap under a mountain of blankets.
This was actually a really, really awesome part of my day. 3. Eat!
Saturday is when Logan and I go grocery shopping, and by the time we return from our travels, I am usually cranky and hungry (the crankiness is a direct result from being hungry), which means I don't want to spend time in the kitchen, I want food NOW. So we usually go out. Today, it was to the Pita Pit, which is a very easy place to find vegan food (they have falafel, baba ganouj and hummus), and I enjoyed this monster:

A huge falafel pita with lettuce, tomato, cukes, pickles, black and green olives, green peppers and mustard. YUM.
It's been a good Saturday, despite the cold :)
